VitaPulse By Princeton Nutrients- Is It Really The Supplement It Claims To Be?

Fitness & Nutrition

Created by Dr. Bereliani’s Princeton Nutrients, VitaPulse is a supplement that comes with the promise to provide antioxidant support that will help maintain a healthy cardio function, protect against cellular damages, maintain healthy cholesterol levels, decrease inflammation levels, boost cellular energy as well as mitochondrial health.

What exactly is VitaPulse?

This is simply a potent antioxidant-based supplement made of just three powerful ingredients created to improve the overall health of a person and attempt to become the cardiac killer. The three ingredients include:

  • CoQ10 100 mg.
  • PQQ Na2 10 mg.
  • N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 250 mg.

People are usually aware of all the heart health dangers they face and these ingredients combined together are designed to deliver an advanced antioxidant support that people need to combat their stress, foods as well as habits.

In case you are not sure, antioxidants are meant to combat radicals and oxidation, which are aging factors. At some point, oxidation can be harmful leading to accelerated aging and increases the risks of diseases. When VitaPulse targets this oxidation, it addresses and supports certain benefits, including:

  • Maintaining a healthy cardio functionality.
  • Boosting mitochondrial health.
  • Reducing inflammation.
  • Protecting the body from cellular damages.
  • Improving cholesterol levels.

Most people know that heart disease is among the top killers in the US and is responsible for almost one out of four deaths in the country. This is where this supplement comes in with an aim to offer people daily nutritional benefits of reducing their risk of high cholesterol and heart disease. The supplement achieves this by boosting the growth of mitochondria within the cells known as energy factories.

How it works

Unlike other antioxidant supplements that use antioxidants like folic acid and Vitamins A, C, and E, this supplement took a totally different approach by using advanced formulas like PQQ, NAC, AND CoQ10. Below is an overview of these ingredients.

PQQ – Pyrroloquinoline Quinone is a chemical that works as a super-powered antioxidant. In recent studies, it has shown very high potential in reducing the number of damaged parts of a heart. This, in turn, reduces any chances of acute heart attack. However, the supplement has been tested on mice with no indication of preventative heart health benefits. Actually, it has been shown to help only after a heart attack.

CoQ10 – This is one of the best anti-aging ingredients available even though it has conflicting research towards heart benefits. Some studies claim it boosts metabolisms and other claims it has no benefits at all.

NAC – N-Acetyl Cysteine is derived from l-cysteine and acts like a protein building block. Research indicates that NAC could be effective in preventing cancer but when it comes to the heart, however, it only comes with the possibility to reduce just one heart disease: Homocysteine levels.

Does it really work?

Vitapluse is quite difficult to say for various reasons. First, the dosage of the supplement is questionable because it seems to be very low. Each capsule of the supplement contains 250 mg of NAC, which is the only ingredient that is scientifically proven here. According to studies, NAC should be taken in a dosage of 1200 mg daily in order to be effective. This means that the supplement might not be able to the same results as those of people who take 1.2 grams of NAC per day.

If that’s not enough, there is really no clinical research information listed on the product. This means that it is making bold claims about heart health benefits with no research what-so-ever to back those claims up. It’s a given, yes, that each ingredient has been under study but combined as a supplement, there is no sufficient research.
